I help organize a homeschool co-op, which means that I'm often in charge of organizing fun and engaging activities for large groups of children of all ages. This summer, our theme is "Reach for the Stars." We're trying to organize events that encourage students to dream big and aim high, and pair that with interesting topics about space and science.
To kick off the summer programs, I wanted to find a motivational speaker who could talk to the kids about achieving their dreams. It's not easy to find a motivational speaker who is good with kids and knowledgeable on scientific topics, specifically space, and who is affordable to a homeschool group. However, I managed to find one. The kickoff event was a great success, and I think it really helped our kids have some confidence to follow their dreams this summer.
